About GOEX

FEEL GOOD. DO GOOD.

Feel Good About The Clothes You Wear!

GOEX uses a simple tee to connect the customer and the maker. Our customers sustain fair wage jobs that liberate workers from poverty and empower them in their families and communities.

At GOEX, we seek to do better in everything we do.

A better shirt starts with better pay. We choose to pay our workers in Kansas City and Haiti fair wages. On average, one of our workers earning a fair wage supports six family members. A better shirt starts with better standards. We are proud to say GOEX is one of the elite few who have passed the Fair Trade Federation’s (FTF) rigorous screening! Check out our blog to learn more about how we are dedicated to following the nine FTF principles established to maintain integrity.

“Le travail c'est la liberté”

Our Social Enterprise Story

“Work is freedom”. When asked about going to work even when the trip there is dangerous, this was the response of our team members in Haiti. A fair wage job truly has the ability to liberate and empower people.

Our story began in 2010 in Gulu, Uganda with a woman named Lucy who had a sewing center, but no work. Our parent organization, The Global Orphan Project, created work for her sewing school uniforms and a few other items. This work gave Lucy dignity, provided for her family and for others, and changed their stories from charity to empowerment.GOEX Apparel builds on that foundation by providing US consumers the opportunity to contribute to family strengthening and job creation programs around the world. You have the ability to change lives through a simple purchase decision. Perhaps most importantly, your partnership sets an example in the marketplace that ethical commerce can affect systemic, bottom-up change through the dignity of work.

By choosing GOEX, you are choosing a better shirt for a better world.
