Art and Design
What kind of art files should I send you?
We kindly request a vector art file (.AI or .EPS). If you’re not familiar with this file type, please request the informational art packet from your sales representative.
How much are art fees?
We allow our customers 15 minutes of FREE art time. From there, we charge $40 per hour for creative art proofs. All original artwork created by GOEX is the property of GOEX.
Is my design considered creative art?
If we do not receive a vector art file from you, then yes! Your design is considered creative art, as our in-house artist will start from scratch to recreate the file you provided.
What is your turnaround time for a proof?
We give our in-house artist 48 hours to complete your proof. Every revision after will respect that same timeline.
Screenprinting
How big can you print on a shirt?
Our full chest and full back prints are 15”(w) X 18”(h) (3” down from collar).
Can I print the same order on adult and youth sizes?
If youth and adult sizes are combined, we will reduce the size of the artwork to the smallest shirts, OR there is a $15 per color charge for a second-sized set of screens. That decision is up to you!
Can I mix and match ink or shirt colors?
You can! Please note that if you’re mixing a light shirt and a dark shirt, we may need to change the color of the graphic so it’s easily visible. We charge $15 per color change.
I’m missing a couple shirts from my order. What happened?
This is a rare occasion and we apologize for this inconvenience. Printing is an art, not a science and sometimes t-shirts don’t meet GOEX standards. Our accounting department will issue you a credit shortly.
Custom Group Apparel Orders
What’s your minimum quantity?
Our minimum order quantity is 24 pieces.
Can I mix shirt sizes & do I need to order in dozens?
Of course, you’re welcome to mix tee sizes. No need to order in dozens.
Can I print on a shirt that isn’t listed?
If we are short on stock, we will consider ordering in from another brand to complete your order. However, we try to keep everything GOEX,
if possible.
What’s your turnaround time?
Our turnaround time is 5–7 business days after art is approved and payment is received in full.
When do I pay for my products?
After you send your quantities/sizes and billing/shipping information to your sales representative, he/she will send you a proof of your purchase order. When you approve the proof, your rep will forward it to GOEX’s accounting team, who will reach out to you with a final invoice and a link to pay online.
How do I pay?
After the order is placed, our accounting team will reach out to you with a final total and our secure website to process a credit card payment: goexapparel.com/payment. If you’re paying by check, please mail it to: 3161 Wyandotte St, Kansas City, MO 64111.
Fulfillment
How does GOEX fulfillment differ from online print on demand providers?
Fulfillment is defined as pick, pack and shipping services. We link to your website, download orders as they come in, pick the appropriate items from your inventory and ship them to your clients.
We do not print shirts one at a time as orders come in, we pull the ordered items from inventory you previously purchased and put on the shelves.
Does fulfillment make sense for me?
Our fulfillment services are ideal for an established medium size webstore whose management is finding it burdensome to process and ship daily orders. We suggest a minimum of 50 orders a month.
How does GOEX connect to my website?
Note that we connect to your store – we take over the pick, pack & ship functions but you retain inventory ownership, website management and customer service.
What information do you need in order to begin fulfilling my orders?
You will provide a complete list of items we’ll be fulfilling including style number and description.
You will need to provide us with a customer service point of contact.
How do I order inventory? Are there minimums?
All orders should be emailed to orders@goex.org. There is a minimum of 24 pieces per design. You will receive an order confirmation
and invoice.
How do I know what I have in stock?
Customers manage their inventory in many different ways from spreadsheets to inventory control software. However you choose to account for it, we suggest keeping updated quantities in your webstore at all times. You enter the beginning inventory and the numbers will decrease as your customers place orders. You then adjust quantities back up when you order new inventory.
When a customer contacts me with a customer service question, what do I do?
Returns & Exchanges – You will need to have a returns and exchanges policy and process in place and in accordance with your site’s capabilities. We suggest deciding and testing this prior to launch.
Shipping Question – If a customer contacts you with a shipping question and you need information from GOEX, contact fulfillment@goex.org. We’ll get you an answer as quickly as possible, typically within two business hours. If GOEX made an error, we will correct it the same business day at our expense.
Should I allow backorders?
Totally up to you! Just note that we do not ship partial orders. If you allow backorders and a customer orders multiple items, the entire order will be held until you restock the backordered item.
Do you ship internationally?
We can ship internationally but are not liable for any related duties, shipping surcharges or fees.
Processing international shipments has an upcharge of $1.50 per order.
